That’s what I asked myself when I set out to build a Pinterest management business.
Not just for myself, but for your business, too.
That’s my mission.
I took my first Pinterest Management course, and jumped in with a splash! Driven by my desire to help photographers avoid burning out like I did, I discovered the untapped potential Pinterest offered my clients and how I could leverage it to repurpose their content and get more visibility and revenue.
After burning out hard in photography from trying to do it all, and 8 years in social work focusing on Trauma Response and Resiliency, we found out we were moving across the country (Washington State to Texas). My business idea was born and I began putting the pieces in place before we hit the road.
My father passed away and my appreciation for photography and the art of freezing moments in time was solidified. Some of the first portraits I took were of my father and family by his bedside in Hospice. This fueled my passion and I started my photography business.
I leaned into my childhood love for Photography from photo labs in junior and high school and picked up my first DSLR (Canon 5D Mark ii). I also joined Pinterest - which had just launched!
Dove in even deeper to Pinterest as my preferred platform, studied it in depth, and launched strategies that helped my clients reach over 111,400 views, and over 1100 annual direct to booking page clicks from repurposed content!
If you haven’t guessed it yet, I’m Kerri!
And if there is one thing I believe in, it’s that business doesn’t always have to feel like transactions and contracts. In fact, entrepreneurship should be about connection and expressing who you are.
It should be exciting, invigorating, and FUN!
But I know what you’re thinking, you still own a business. You’ve got goals and dreams and visions for where you are headed (and they likely include a bit of profit).
So rather than letting cut-throat scaling strategies and cold professionalism suck your passion dry, what if you could invest in someone and something that allows for growth without grief?
That’s what I’m here to help you do…
Sound like something you’re into? You know you wanna ↓
Yessss we’re business owners. And while that is a big part of our identities, it’s not what defines us.
You should know that I’m also a mama (humans + furpups), a PNW native, and a military spouse. Can’t forget that I’m an ally, a road trip and foodie fanatic, and a, as pure as they come, water lovin’ Cancer child.
At one point in my life, I was a social worker specializing in resiliency, trauma, and burn out. Before that, I was a photographer who, well, burned TF out. Every experience pushed me to be resourceful and savvy, but also to lead with compassion and understanding.
And eventually it led me to where I needed to be. Right here with you.
That’s why I care so freakin’ much about what I do. Because all of the hopes, struggles, dreams, or hard decisions – I’ve had them, too.
So while I’ll serve the hell out of your business as your Pinterest manager, I promise to always be there to support you as a human, too.
It sounds like you + I have some work to do.
